A certificate that can help you get a job in Korea :Welcome to a friend who wants to get a job in Korea. Getting ready for a job is not an easy task. To get a job, you need a lot of experience, competence, work ability, etc. Especially in companies with high competition rates, if you want to get a job, you have to meet many conditions to apply. Among them, skills and career are very important! It’s a certificate that can prove your skills, experience, etc.! Then I’ll introduce what kind of certificate to get below.

A certificate that can help you get a job in Korea

MOS Certificate
It is an international qualification test that measures the ability to use Microsoft Office. It is a certificate that can be used a lot because it is applied in many countries other than Korea. As of January 2023, you can take the MOS 2016 in Korea. As a test program, of course, I only use the office for Microsoft Windows. In the case of MOS 2016, there are 5 subjects in total, and the required subjects are Word (Advanced Expert), Excel (Advanced Expert), and PowerPoint, and you can choose either Access or Outlook as an optional subject! You don’t have to get a license if you look at all of these subjects, but if you get the same version (e.g. 2016), you automatically get a Master license if you get a total of 4 of Word Expert, Excel Expert, PowerPoint, and Access/Outlook!!

ITQ certificates used more in Korea than MOS
The ITQ certificate is a higher certificate than the MOS certificate. As my friends who live in Korea know, Korea uses Korean and Korean offices more than Word. The ITQ certificate is a certificate that includes the Hangul office and Microsoft office. So it’s harder to get it Haha. But this certificate will help you a lot. Subjects include word processors (MS Word, Hancom Korean), presentations (MS PowerPoint, Hancom Hansho), spreadsheets (MS Excel, Hancom Hansel), databases (MS Access), and the Internet, and test time is 60 minutes per subject. The score is out of 500 points, and if each subject scores more than 80% (400 points), 60% (300 points), and 40% (200 points), A, B, and C grades will be obtained, and if there are three or more A-grade subjects, the national OA Master certificate will be obtained. It is issued in the form of a certificate, and the certificate for each subject in the form of a card is issued even if you get a C grade!

OA National Accredited Certification organized by the Korea Productivity Center (KPC). However, it is a state-certified private qualification, not a national technical qualification. The certificate will be issued in the form of a card like the certificate of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In addition, the validity period of the certificate is two years, and if you complete repair education within the period, the period will be increased by five years. In addition, the qualification is not revoked just because the period has passed, but the qualification is suspended and renewed when the remuneration education is completed.

an examination subject
Word Processor (MS Word, Hancom Korean)
Presentation (MS PowerPoint, Hancom Hansho)
Spreadsheet (MS Excel, Hancom Hansel)
Database (MS Access)
Internet

The examination time is 60 minutes per subject. Originally, check-out was not possible until the end of the test time, so if there was time left, infinite review work had to be carried out. However, due to COVID-19, it is possible to check out 20 minutes before the end of the test (that is, 40 minutes later). Successful applicants will be announced at 10 a.m. on the day of the announcement. The test is a PBT method. Before the test, the supervisor distributes the test paper, and the test-taker writes his or her test number and name with writing tools, and then performs the work through the computer as instructed by the test paper until the test ends. After the test, the supervisor retrieves the test paper. The test paper size is A3, twice the size of A4.

The above are basic certificates, and useful certificates in almost every field! If you have a certificate when applying, your competitiveness will be strengthened and better. It would be good to find friends who will get a job in Korea and prepare a certificate if you can!

Do you know about four major insurances policies in Korea?

Have you ever heard of the word "four major insurances"?If you've watched news and TV a lot while living in Korea, you've probably heard it at least once. But what's the big four insurance policies? Does it matter to foreigners?I'll tell you more about the four major insurances today. What are the four major insurances? Korea's four major insurances refer to all four insurances directly managed by the government to ensure a stable economic life for the people from social risks. In Korea, people with income, companies, and institutions are required to pay four major insurances! It's a mandatory subscription insurance that all workers must sign up for, regardless of whether they are interns, non-regular workers, or regular workers!Foreigners also have to pay four major insurances if they work for a Korean company! When you look at job postings on recruitment sites, there are often the same conditions as "four major insurances included." Some companies offer four major insurances instead, or some companies have such conditions, such as 50%. What are the four major insurances? The four major insurances include national pension, national health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance. In the case of international students, if they live in Korea for more than six months, they are obligated to pay national health insurance every month. If you get a job in Korea, you have to pay the national pension, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance in addition to the national health insurance. Then what kind of benefits do you think each insurance provides? The four major insurances don't usually get any benefits right away, but they can get benefits depending on the conditions of the insurance the national pension The National Pension Service pays 4.5% of its monthly salary as an insurance premium almost every year. The national pension, which is later paid for retirement, is a system created in preparation for not being able to work if a worker retires after a certain age. In other words, when you retire later, you have the amount you can get every month, and that amount will be returned to the National Pension Service we paid for! employment insurance It is a system created for...
