Ranking of Korean universities

First of all, it must be a big concern about which school to go, but it is necessary to fully consider whether the school fits me, not applying just because you have heard of it.
There are many things to consider, such as whether it is a school with a high propensity for science, a high propensity for liberal arts, how much tuition is, how much recognition of the department I want to go to, and whether the subject I want to take is opened.

A list of preparations you need before you start studying in Korea

Visa and school admission procedures: To start studying abroad in Korea, you must follow appropriate visas and school admission procedures. You can see the admission process and recruitment date on the school website.

Studying Korean: Studying Korean is essential to living in Korea. It is better to study Korean in advance and develop basic conversation and reading skills.

Tuition and living expenses: Living expenses and tuition are required when studying abroad in Korea. I recommend that you prepare a sufficient budget for this.

Housing and Meal: It is necessary to solve proper housing and meals in Korea. You can solve meals and housing in dormitories or student centers in the university. Otherwise, you can find a house and live alone, but it is in light of the current situation of jeonse fraud.

Hospitals and medical insurance: Korean international students are required to subscribe to medical insurance, and they will automatically subscribe. A bill will probably be sent to the registered address.

Understanding Culture: An understanding of cultural and social norms in Korea is needed. In order to prevent conflicts in interactions with locals, it is necessary to improve understanding of Korean culture. I will deal with this part a lot later.

Electronic devices: Smartphones, laptops, etc. are indispensable things in college life. Nowadays, nearly 90 percent of 30 students take classes using an iPad or other pad when they enter a classrooms. Paper and pen have become distant country stories.

Appropriate clothing: You should choose the appropriate clothing for the Korean climate. Korea can be very cold in winter, so you should prepare warm outerwear in winter. This winter was so cold that I endured with a long padded coat.

Transportation: You can travel to various parts of Korea using public transportation. If you learn subway and bus route maps to use public transportation, you won’t get lost. Or I recommend that you download Kakao Maps, Kakao Bus, or subway apps on your phone.

Active attitude: Studying abroad in Korea is a process with many challenges as a foreigner. Enjoy new experiences with an active attitude and don’t be afraid to make friends. Of course, no friends with bad people! You have to say no!

Do you know about four major insurances policies in Korea?

Have you ever heard of the word "four major insurances"?If you've watched news and TV a lot while living in Korea, you've probably heard it at least once. But what's the big four insurance policies? Does it matter to foreigners?I'll tell you more about the four major insurances today. What are the four major insurances? Korea's four major insurances refer to all four insurances directly managed by the government to ensure a stable economic life for the people from social risks. In Korea, people with income, companies, and institutions are required to pay four major insurances! It's a mandatory subscription insurance that all workers must sign up for, regardless of whether they are interns, non-regular workers, or regular workers!Foreigners also have to pay four major insurances if they work for a Korean company! When you look at job postings on recruitment sites, there are often the same conditions as "four major insurances included." Some companies offer four major insurances instead, or some companies have such conditions, such as 50%. What are the four major insurances? The four major insurances include national pension, national health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance. In the case of international students, if they live in Korea for more than six months, they are obligated to pay national health insurance every month. If you get a job in Korea, you have to pay the national pension, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance in addition to the national health insurance. Then what kind of benefits do you think each insurance provides? The four major insurances don't usually get any benefits right away, but they can get benefits depending on the conditions of the insurance the national pension The National Pension Service pays 4.5% of its monthly salary as an insurance premium almost every year. The national pension, which is later paid for retirement, is a system created in preparation for not being able to work if a worker retires after a certain age. In other words, when you retire later, you have the amount you can get every month, and that amount will be returned to the National Pension Service we paid for! employment insurance It is a system created for...
