  • If a person with a Visiting Work Visa (H-2) is allowed to extend his/her visa, his/her stay must not exceed three years. However, for those who meet the requirements set by the Minister of Justice, such as the recommendation of the employer, the extension of the period of stay may be allowed within less than five years.
  • A person who is staying with a visiting work visa (H-2) as a parent or spouse of a person with a study abroad visa (D-2) cannot stay beyond the period of stay of a person with a study abroad visa (D-2).

A.
