How can I get TOPIK level 6 in 2 years? Everyone, you all know the topic test, right?

TOPIK (Topic) in Korea is a standardized test to evaluate foreigners’ Korean language skills. The exam consists of six stages, from beginner level 1 to advanced level 6, and consists of listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Korean proficiency test for foreigners and other non-Korean speakers. It is divided into TOPIK I (1st and 2nd grades) and TOPIK II (3rd to 6th grades), and writing (=writing), reading, and listening are out of 100 points, respectively. TOPIK has been organized by the Korea Academic Foundation for two years since 1997 and the Korea Curriculum Evaluation Institute for 12 years from 1999 to 2010, and has been conducted by the National Institute of International Education (formerly the International Education Promotion) since 2011. For reference, Koreans living in Korea can also apply for TOPIK if they pay for it. However, there is no place to use it with your specifications. If you want to become a person who teaches Korean to non-native Korean students, you need to see TOPIK in person. TOPIK exams are generally held in April and October every year, and test takers are allowed to participate in the tests at national and overseas test sites. The validity period of the test results is two years. The test is very important for those who wish to study, get a job, or immigrate to Korea. This is because there are many universities and companies that require foreign applicants to submit TOPIK grades. The TOPIK test is also a way to show an individual’s Korean language skills and helps improve his or her job competitiveness.

As you know, you have to take the Korean language proficiency test to enter a Korean university. In my personal experience, I started studying Korean at a Chinese academy in September 2019. I was going to come to Korea in February 2020, but my flight was canceled because of Corona and I studied Korean alone for half a year at home. I came to Korea in August 2020 and got level 6 on the Korean Language Proficiency Test in November while adjusting to life in Korea.

Then how can I get TOPIK level 6 in 2 years?
Today, I’ll give you tips for the topic test

1️⃣ Pronunciation

When you start studying Korean for the first time, I would like to teach you how to study pronunciation properly without being in a hurry. I think pronunciation is very important. Because if you have good pronunciation, you will not only get a high score on the listening test, but it will also be very helpful when you live in Korea in the future. So don’t neglect the importance of pronunciation and study many variations in Korean.

2️⃣ Write

I heard a lot that writing test is difficult in topic test. However, it is important to practice writing a lot to be good at writing, but you also need to know the technique of writing well.
And the less you write, the better.
I bought a writing book and kept practicing according to the writing book. As you practice, you’ll get a lot of similar sentences. I hope I can memorize as many of those sentences as possible and use them when I take the test.

3️⃣ Words

I think the soul of language is a word. The TOPIK test can also reflect foreigners’ vocabulary skills! And there are so many foreign words in Korea that it will be easier for those who are good at English to study.
You can’t memorize words all at once. Therefore, I recommend memorizing 20 to 30 Korean words every day. The more you pile up, the more miracles you’ll come out!

-Studying with a word book or using a word app is all good!

4️⃣ Korean News

If you want to take the advanced topic test, I recommend you to watch a lot of Korean news. For example, Naver news, SNS news, MBC..You can watch the news on your back. Not only can you hear Korean with correct pronunciation through the news, but you can also hear the topics covered by the news and various things that happen in Korean society in the reading test!

5️⃣ Korean dramas and movies

If you’re a beginner in Korean, you can find and watch Korean dramas and movies with bilingual subtitles, and if you’re a middle- or high-level student in Korean, just try something that’s in Korean! Beginner-level friends should not look at their country’s language as much as possible, but only when they don’t know it. Middle and high school friends may not be able to adapt at first, but if you watch it, you will get used to it and improve your Korean!

In fact, the most important thing is to keep trying, right? Studying a language is not something you can achieve all of a sudden, but something you have to do over and over and over again. You’ve heard that a person who studies well is the heaviest person on his butt!

There’s no tip for the topic test. It depends on individual efforts.

Do you know about four major insurances policies in Korea?

Have you ever heard of the word "four major insurances"?If you've watched news and TV a lot while living in Korea, you've probably heard it at least once. But what's the big four insurance policies? Does it matter to foreigners?I'll tell you more about the four major insurances today. What are the four major insurances? Korea's four major insurances refer to all four insurances directly managed by the government to ensure a stable economic life for the people from social risks. In Korea, people with income, companies, and institutions are required to pay four major insurances! It's a mandatory subscription insurance that all workers must sign up for, regardless of whether they are interns, non-regular workers, or regular workers!Foreigners also have to pay four major insurances if they work for a Korean company! When you look at job postings on recruitment sites, there are often the same conditions as "four major insurances included." Some companies offer four major insurances instead, or some companies have such conditions, such as 50%. What are the four major insurances? The four major insurances include national pension, national health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance. In the case of international students, if they live in Korea for more than six months, they are obligated to pay national health insurance every month. If you get a job in Korea, you have to pay the national pension, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance in addition to the national health insurance. Then what kind of benefits do you think each insurance provides? The four major insurances don't usually get any benefits right away, but they can get benefits depending on the conditions of the insurance the national pension The National Pension Service pays 4.5% of its monthly salary as an insurance premium almost every year. The national pension, which is later paid for retirement, is a system created in preparation for not being able to work if a worker retires after a certain age. In other words, when you retire later, you have the amount you can get every month, and that amount will be returned to the National Pension Service we paid for! employment insurance It is a system created for...
