Korean stew type 🥘: Everyone, when you first came to Korea, did you get used to Korean food?
It’s been almost 3 years since I came to Korea, and I started eating Korean food well!
Among Korean food, I’ve been enjoying eating jjigae these days
Today, I’m going to introduce my favorite Korean stew~

What is stew?
A dish where ingredients are put in a pot or earthen pot, and water and seasoning are added to it and boiled. Along with rice, soup, kimchi, and sauces, it is one of the dishes that are not included in the traditional table.

Soup/Tang: There is a lot of water and less ingredients. It is a dish that mainly eats soup.
Hot pot: less stock and more ingredients. Broth is an ingredient for cooking ingredients. Budae jjigae actually becomes a food that is close to budae jeongol. These days, it is cooked while boiling, but considering the origin of budae jjigae, the original budae jjigae is a food made with ingredients that have been cooked once.
Stew: It’s between hot pot and soup/tang.

Korean stew type 🥘

1️⃣ Kimchi stew
🥘 It is a stew based on kimchi, one of the traditional Korean dishes.
🥘 Kimchi stew is a soup made by boiling kimchi, pork, tofu, onions, green onions, and garlic together. As you know, kimchi is one of the famous fermented foods in Korea, and you can make various dishes with kimchi.
To make kimchi stew, you have to boil kimchi with seasoning first. In this process, the spicy and salty taste of kimchi is added to create a special taste of the stew.
🥘 Also, kimchi stew is rich in various nutrients. Kimchi contains a lot of lactobacillus and intestinal microorganisms, which can help improve digestion, and pork is rich in nutrients such as protein, iron, and zinc. Tofu contains calcium and protein, which helps maintain healthy bones and muscles.
🥘 I didn’t really like kimchi, but I don’t really eat kimchi stew either. But as I ate a lot, I felt the charm of kimchi stew. It’s really delicious and healthy food.

2️⃣ Soybean paste stew
🥘 When I first came to Korea, I went to a snack bar and there was soybean paste stew. At that time, I didn’t eat a single bite because of the strong smell of soybean paste. But after living in Korea for a long time, I learned the taste of soybean paste stew. I’m eating it really deliciously right now^^
🥘 Soybean paste stew is a soup made by cutting soybean paste, pork, tofu, onion, green onion, garlic, etc. Soybean paste is one of the representative fermented foods in Korea, along with red pepper paste made by fermenting soybeans.
🥘 Now, doenjang jjigae is a food that you have to cook at home or go out if you don’t eat it for a few days.

3️⃣ Soft Tofu Stew
🥘 Soft tofu stew is characterized by soft tofu and spicy sauce. Soft tofu is a food obtained from soybean paste made by fermenting soybean paste, and has a soft and chewy texture.
🥘 To make soft tofu stew, first boil ingredients such as pork, seafood, onions, cheongyang peppers, and garlic together to create a savory taste, and then add soft tofu and cook it gently.
🥘 In Korea, when you go to a snack bar, they often give you stew if you order two dishes. I often chose between soft tofu stew and soybean paste stew. I ordered a lot of soft tofu stew, too

4️⃣ Budae jjigae
🥘 It originated from the food traditionally eaten in the military. It is a soup made by boiling various ingredients such as pork, tofu, rice cake, onion, green onion, bok choy, bean sprouts, red pepper paste, and red pepper powder.
🥘 Budae-jjigae is a food that combines various ingredients with soup that tastes spicy with red pepper paste and red pepper powder to capture both taste and nutritional value.
🥘 Budaejjigae is a military dish, but it is now one of the popular foods enjoyed by many people at home and abroad.
🥘 Budaejjigae is a food that I ate a lot in China even before I came to Korea. That’s how famous and delicious it is.

Today, I introduced you to various Korean stews.
Just looking at the image makes me hungry..
Everyone, do you like Korean stew?

Do you know about four major insurances policies in Korea?

Have you ever heard of the word "four major insurances"?If you've watched news and TV a lot while living in Korea, you've probably heard it at least once. But what's the big four insurance policies? Does it matter to foreigners?I'll tell you more about the four major insurances today. What are the four major insurances? Korea's four major insurances refer to all four insurances directly managed by the government to ensure a stable economic life for the people from social risks. In Korea, people with income, companies, and institutions are required to pay four major insurances! It's a mandatory subscription insurance that all workers must sign up for, regardless of whether they are interns, non-regular workers, or regular workers!Foreigners also have to pay four major insurances if they work for a Korean company! When you look at job postings on recruitment sites, there are often the same conditions as "four major insurances included." Some companies offer four major insurances instead, or some companies have such conditions, such as 50%. What are the four major insurances? The four major insurances include national pension, national health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance. In the case of international students, if they live in Korea for more than six months, they are obligated to pay national health insurance every month. If you get a job in Korea, you have to pay the national pension, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance in addition to the national health insurance. Then what kind of benefits do you think each insurance provides? The four major insurances don't usually get any benefits right away, but they can get benefits depending on the conditions of the insurance the national pension The National Pension Service pays 4.5% of its monthly salary as an insurance premium almost every year. The national pension, which is later paid for retirement, is a system created in preparation for not being able to work if a worker retires after a certain age. In other words, when you retire later, you have the amount you can get every month, and that amount will be returned to the National Pension Service we paid for! employment insurance It is a system created for...
