Must-eat food in Korea

Date:

Must-eat food in Korea : As interest in various Korean media such as Korean dramas, Korean movies, and Korean music has increased, more foreigners are interested in Korea itself. There are a lot of people who want to come to Korea to experience Korean culture, go to places that you saw in dramas, and eat delicious Korean food, right?

But no matter how long you travel to Korea, you can’t try all the Korean food during the trip. Therefore, I think there will be many people who want to eat at least that after being introduced to the representative food that must be eaten. I would like to introduce two Korean foods that I would like to recommend to those people to try when they come to Korea.

Must-eat food in Korea 1 : Korean-style pizza, Korean pancakes, and makgeolli that adults can try

Have you ever heard of pancakes? If you like Korean dramas or movies, you may have seen them tear up round and thin food with chopsticks. Pancake is also called Jeon, meaning a food that is fried in oil.

There are so many kinds of pancakes. There are many kinds of kimchi pancakes with kimchi, seafood and green onions, and potato pancakes with potatoes, which are one of the representative foods of Korea. Usually, these ingredients are put in flour, spread thinly over oil, and baked, but potato pancakes are also made using only potatoes.

One of the reasons why I recommend Korean pancakes is that you can enjoy a variety of flavors and it is easy to eat even for those who eat Korean food for the first time. Also, the feeling of eating is not a food that needs to be adjusted, but it is a food that anyone can eat easily. Especially in the case of kimchi pancakes, I want to try kimchi, one of Korea’s representative foods, but it is good for those who are not confident to try kimchi for the first time. It’s because it’s baked with flour, so it’s much less spicy and easier to eat.

It can be divided into types of flour or other dough, such as green onion pancake, chives pancake, kimchi pancake, mung bean pancake, and wheat pancake, and pumpkin pancake, fish pancake, sanjeok, meatball, cabbage pancake, Dombaegijeon (Gyeongsang-do), etc. Flour and oil are the same, but in fact, the two types are different recipes. The former is the main ingredient and the latter is the main ingredient. The former is also called a pancake.
There is a pancake made by mixing the pancakes below. For example, kimchi pancake + meat pancake = kimchi meat pancake or kimchi pancake + tuna pancake = tuna kimchi pancake. Variations are to the taste of the maker.

Also, if you are an adult, I recommend you to try makgeolli that goes very well with pancakes. Makgeolli is a traditional Korean liquor made from rice. Makgeolli and pancakes go very well together, so if you like alcohol, it will be a very satisfying meal. But even if you can’t drink alcohol, it’s very delicious even if you just eat pancakes!

Must-eat food in Korea 2 : porkbelcy

Pork belly is the belly of a pig, and it is mainly made of bacon in foreign countries, but in Korea, it is often eaten by grilling raw meat right away. Pork belly is very soft because it is a fatty part, but when grilled, the outside becomes a little crispy and tastes much better.

As it is a food loved by Koreans, you can easily see a restaurant where you can eat pork belly anywhere when you come to Korea, and there are very delicious pork belly prepared. In addition, you can feel another taste through various side dishes that you can eat with pork belly, and the wrap that you wrap with pork belly in vegetables takes care of your health as well as taste. If you watch Korean dramas or movies, you can see a scene where you wrap a pork belly wrap to your loved one’s loved one.

Don’t you already want to try these two representative Korean foods just by reading the article? It’s easy to eat anywhere in Korea, so if you come to Korea, try it!

Do you know about four major insurances policies in Korea?

Have you ever heard of the word "four major insurances"?If you've watched news and TV a lot while living in Korea, you've probably heard it at least once. But what's the big four insurance policies? Does it matter to foreigners?I'll tell you more about the four major insurances today. What are the four major insurances? Korea's four major insurances refer to all four insurances directly managed by the government to ensure a stable economic life for the people from social risks. In Korea, people with income, companies, and institutions are required to pay four major insurances! It's a mandatory subscription insurance that all workers must sign up for, regardless of whether they are interns, non-regular workers, or regular workers!Foreigners also have to pay four major insurances if they work for a Korean company! When you look at job postings on recruitment sites, there are often the same conditions as "four major insurances included." Some companies offer four major insurances instead, or some companies have such conditions, such as 50%. What are the four major insurances? The four major insurances include national pension, national health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance. In the case of international students, if they live in Korea for more than six months, they are obligated to pay national health insurance every month. If you get a job in Korea, you have to pay the national pension, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance in addition to the national health insurance. Then what kind of benefits do you think each insurance provides? The four major insurances don't usually get any benefits right away, but they can get benefits depending on the conditions of the insurance the national pension The National Pension Service pays 4.5% of its monthly salary as an insurance premium almost every year. The national pension, which is later paid for retirement, is a system created in preparation for not being able to work if a worker retires after a certain age. In other words, when you retire later, you have the amount you can get every month, and that amount will be returned to the National Pension Service we paid for! employment insurance It is a system created for...
