Songdo International City, a smart korean city : Songdo International City, the Incheon Free Economic Zone, is a free economic zone created by reclamation of the sea in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and is the world’s largest private city development project built with about 40 trillion won in private capital. Based on the international urban development of cities such as Shanghai, Singapore, and Dubai, which began in earnest in the 1990s, the city is being developed on reclaimed land 17 times that of Yeouido, Seoul, and 55 km2 larger than Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province.
The site has the shape of an artificial island connected to the land by a bridge with the unburied sea in between. The development of Songdo International Business District is being carried out by Gale International and POSCO E&C. The city’s master plan was designed by the New York office of Con Pederson Fox (KPF). The development, manpower, and development of infrastructure are mainly through private financing.
The area, home to 163,000 people in Ak, is seeing a growing number of tourists coming from outside of South Korea. It is also called the future city and is being reborn as an international city.
Now I’m going to explain some of the must-visit places in a Songdo International City, a smart korean city?

Lake Central Park
Do you remember Central Park? There is an artificial lake there. There are countless households, restaurants, and cafes right next to the lake. Foreign architecture? It feels like we’re in a foreign country because they’re concept buildings. It’s a perfect place to eat and take a walk on the lake. The lake was very clean and I could even see the fish lol It was very fascinating! Did you all watch the Penthouse drama? I enjoyed watching it for a while, and I was very curious because I heard that it was filmed near the penthouse when I went on a trip to Songdo! There’s an art center near the lake park! They filmed it there. If you’re a fan of the penthouse, you should go~~

Songdo Komarin Wet Boat House

You can go around Central Park Lake on a small cruise ship for only 4,000 won. It’s a round-trip course from the West Boat House dock to Songdo Hanok Village. You can see the G Tower, the lake view, and the city view are very pretty. It’s better to take pictures because it’s slow. It was really, really good! It was so pretty during the day, but I think it would be nice to see a great night view if you ride it at night!

Songdo Convensia
With the development of Songdo International City, it was necessary to meet the convention demand of companies that would move into Songdo International City and companies in large industrial complexes in Namdong-gu and Bupyeong-gu. What was promoted accordingly was Songdo Convensia! It is a place where many big events were held! The building is too big, and there are many things to see and experience. Convensia, which has a great design, is also a tourist attraction in Songdo. You’re curious what’s inside, right? It’s a convention, so exhibitions, concerts,… The lights are sometimes carried out there. There are many experiences, cafes, and restaurants besides the large conference room and performance room inside! Let’s take a lot of great pictures in the building photo zone!
And let’s experience VR at the Smart MICE Lounge! I went sightseeing in Incheon through VR, and it was very fun because I felt like I was in Incheon attractions myself! You can play games, too! I think it would be better to go on a day when there is a concert, festival, or exhibitions. I think it will be more exciting and fun because I can see the building and experience the performance!
This is the end of Songdo tour!(Songdo International City smart korean city) Everywhere was great. Among the places I’ve been to, Songdo in Incheon was the most impressive and fun. And “Oh, it’s here!” I even thought, ‘This is where I want to live! You should all go there
