Daegu is a city rich in historical and cultural heritage, such as Andong Fortress Wall built during Goguryeo and Daegu International Museum built during the Joseon Dynasty. In addition, Daegu attracts many tourists with various food cultures and shopping courses, and you can purchase various Korean specialties and souvenirs such as “Dongdaegu Station Front Street” and “Seodaegu Station Front Street.”

Let me introduce you to tourist attractions in Ulsan and Daegu!

Tourist attractions Ulsan Daegu 1 .Seomun Market and Dongseong-ro

Seomun Market is one of the three traditional markets in Korea, and it is a representative traditional market in Daegu where fabrics and various foods are sold intensively.Dongseong-ro is the center of Daegu’s commercial district and is located between Banwoldang and Jungang-ro, which are convenient for transportation, and is the largest shopping street in Daegu and Daegu’s best attraction with cultural tourism infrastructure.

History
During the Joseon Dynasty, Seomun Market had to go further east from its current location. The original Seomun Market began to develop in the middle of the Joseon Dynasty when the market was formed outside the northern gate of Daegu Eupseong Fortress, which is believed to be around Michang Alley passing from the current Buksung-ro to Taepyeong-ro. Currently, it was located in the Dongsan Police Box and motorcycle alley area, and its name was Daegu-eup Naejang, and at that time, it was also called the three major markets of Joseon along with Ganggyeong Market and Pyongyang Market.

For reference, Namdaemun Market in Seoul cannot be included in the three major markets because it has a strong market character created in late Joseon or Japanese colonial era. Of course, the current Seomun Market is also a market that boasts a vast scale and national recognition.

With the development and expansion of Daegu’s urban area in the early 1920s, Seomun Market is currently the place where a large pond called Cheonhwangdangji in the southwest was reclaimed and moved.

In 1922, he was granted permission to open a public market. However, when the Cheonhwangdangji was reclaimed at that time, the burial ground of Dalseong Ancient Tombs in Bisan-dong and Daeshin-dong was dug and reclaimed. At that time, the Japanese imperialism destroyed cultural properties and created a site, similar to digging the mound of the royal tombs of Silla in Gyeongju and reclaiming the pond.History tells us the answer to that question.Since then, as various houses and facilities have been built in each area of Daegu, the ancient tombs in the city such as Dalseong Ancient Tombs, Bisan-dong Ancient Tombs, and Daemyeong-dong Ancient Tombs have almost disappeared, leaving only the Bulo-dong Ancient Tombs, where the park was built. Dalseong Ancient Tombs were investigated by the Japanese Government-General of Korea in 1923, and various valuable burial items such as gold crowns, earthenware, and janggu were found.

In other words, the tombs above, including Dalseong Ancient Tombs, are the tombs of indigenous forces in Daegu during the Three Kingdoms Period and the Three Kingdoms Period. You may see it meaninglessly, “What is an old tomb?” but the presence of an ancient tomb means that there was of course a tribal chief or a military commander-level ruling class to order the creation of the ancient tomb.

Next to the ancient tomb group, there was a castle of the ruling class who created the ancient tomb group, and Dalseong Park, which was reduced to a zoo and a walking course, was originally Saturn, the residence of the ruling class in the area. The tombs of the ruling class in this area are less than those of Gyeongju’s royal tombs, but they are at least 3-4m high, and at least hundreds to thousands of people are needed to make such tombs. In other words, it means that Daegu was a region with a large population that built tombs in various places since ancient times.

It is regrettable academically or in terms of tourism that the ancient tombs with such important historical significance did not remain except for a few.

Looking at the actual measurement and current cadastral map of the Governor-General of Joseon at the time, it seems that there will be an ancient tomb group in Bisan 4-dong and Daeshin-dong

Eight peaks of more than 1,000 meters, including Gajisan Mountain, form a colony, so it is called the “Yeongnam Alps” because it is comparable to the Alps of Europe. It is the largest mountain scenery in the southeastern part of Korea, the core section of the Nakdongjeongmaek between Baekdudaegan Mountain Range, and boasts beautiful mountain scenery in all seasons.Royal azaleas bloom in spring, valleys disappear in summer, silver grasses shake in autumn, and snow flowers scatter in winter, providing beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons. In addition to hiking, mountain leisure sports courses such as MTB, paragliding, and cross-country are gaining popularity.

Do you know about four major insurances policies in Korea?

Have you ever heard of the word "four major insurances"?If you've watched news and TV a lot while living in Korea, you've probably heard it at least once. But what's the big four insurance policies? Does it matter to foreigners?I'll tell you more about the four major insurances today. What are the four major insurances? Korea's four major insurances refer to all four insurances directly managed by the government to ensure a stable economic life for the people from social risks. In Korea, people with income, companies, and institutions are required to pay four major insurances! It's a mandatory subscription insurance that all workers must sign up for, regardless of whether they are interns, non-regular workers, or regular workers!Foreigners also have to pay four major insurances if they work for a Korean company! When you look at job postings on recruitment sites, there are often the same conditions as "four major insurances included." Some companies offer four major insurances instead, or some companies have such conditions, such as 50%. What are the four major insurances? The four major insurances include national pension, national health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance. In the case of international students, if they live in Korea for more than six months, they are obligated to pay national health insurance every month. If you get a job in Korea, you have to pay the national pension, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance in addition to the national health insurance. Then what kind of benefits do you think each insurance provides? The four major insurances don't usually get any benefits right away, but they can get benefits depending on the conditions of the insurance the national pension The National Pension Service pays 4.5% of its monthly salary as an insurance premium almost every year. The national pension, which is later paid for retirement, is a system created in preparation for not being able to work if a worker retires after a certain age. In other words, when you retire later, you have the amount you can get every month, and that amount will be returned to the National Pension Service we paid for! employment insurance It is a system created for...
